delays

Ya know when you think you can do a bunch of things at once? As if you can instantly turn into supermom or superwife! And then the reality sets in and you wonder, "How in the world did I think I could accomplish all that?!"
I'm famous for that. Thinking I can do all those tasks and then realizing as the day goes on that I can only do, in fact, about half of them!
Well, this week is no different. I know that I'm supposed to be doing my soap tutorial and I have all the information and pictures. But I haven't put it all together and we have been hit hard with VBS this week! It consumes our entire morning and by the time we get home, eat lunch, get the kids down for naps, I barely have enough time to do the household chores let alone put together the tutorial!
So, I apologize. My new goal is to have it up by this weekend (VBS comes to an end this Friday!) If I got more sleep at night (instead of the 5-6 hours that I get now) then maybe I'd stay up and blog late at night. But I have 3 kids 3 and under and that's just not possible! :)
VBS and investing in the children of our community is more important to me at this point but have no fear- the tutorial will soon be here! :) Thanks for your patience.

Have a great VBS!
My kids are in Georgia right now at a mission camp and they are doing VBS for a hispanic community and having a ball!! Abby has a little girl teaching her some spanish.
I have always wanted to make my own soap, so this is fun to read and learn about. :)

Hi! Sounds like you are really busy! I need your address to mail those charm packs to you! I feel badly that I haven't been able to get ahold of you, so please don't feel like I forgot... just don't have your address!

You do have quite a bit to do...but that's okay...and yes, you are right...kids comes first..In our house it's God first, family second, career third...and I think blogs fall into that category :) :) :) I enjoy every post that you write...so I'll be patient :) :) Oh, my friend Julie and I made some homemade soap from a recipe on another blog. When time permits you can stop by and check it out. I blogged about it last weekend!!!
Have a great time with the kidlets and VBS :) :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

What better reason than VBS? You're preparing young men and women after God's own heart.

I thought maybe you were superwoman! I can't imagine having any time to blog with kids & all....but I'm glad you do find time for us in blogland. I enjoy your knowledge & information. Looking forward to the soap tutorial. Yes, VBS is much more important.

Kids, family and church are the right priorities so stick with them! We all need to do that more.
