In Light of Recent Events- It's Contest Time!

Meaning, the fabric I just ordered this morning! I'm going to do a little give-a-way here on my blog. Fabric scraps. Like 'em? Well, you can get an entire Priority Mail Box stuffed full of them- for free! I really need to clean out my stash! I have scraps ranging from little cut triangles to pieces large enough to be called remnants, almost whole fat quarters.
Here's the deal; post a comment here on my blog and let me know a little bit about your favorite type of fabic. Where it comes from, who makes it, why you like it, etc. Then remeber to leave an email address where I can contact you. The give a way will, obviosuly, start today and go through next Saturday January 10th. I will randomly pick a winner on Sunday the 11th! Good luck!

I'd love a chance to win some fabric...I rarely meet a fabric I don't like! My favorite is cotton. Thanks for the chance in your giveaway!

Hi, I have been quilting for many years now... I volunteered with an organization as our state coordinator for Home of the Brave Quilts, we make reproduction US Sanitary Quilts for families of our fallen heroes.

I have started my own website in 2001 to further expand my passion for quilting. I often state, I am Paralegal by profession, but a quilter by passion! Most of the quilts I make, I usually give as gifts. I love traditional quilting patterns and quilt with cotton fabrics. Most of the fabric I purchase comes from on line shops or my LQS.

Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest, I could certainly put the fabric to good use!

I LOVE all of Mollie's handpainted rescued fabric. It's all unique and sews up beautifully. I've made several purses from it.

It's so great that you're giving these away; I hope whoever gets them uses them with love :)

I appreciate fabrics most that simply catch my eye and inspire me at the most random of times. Any fabric that begs me to sew it into a quilt, handbag, or dress goes on my list!

I made a New Year's resolution not to buy any fabric this year but I wouldn't be breaking it if I won some.
I love all types of fabric but I'm partial to cotton. My inner quilter makes me search through every remnant bin just in case there's something I can't live without. I love to piece the fabrics together like a collage.
I've been sewing for nine years now and I'm looking forward to helping my son design a new quilt for his bedroom this year.
I'd love to be the lucky recipient of your destashing.

Batiks are my total favorite. I love to do collages - and find different ways of using fabrics. I am planning over the next few years to start quilting - just need a few lessons and a good sewing machine.

Have a great day! :)

I like all cotton fabric and flannel if you have that. I just got into quilting last year and have made a few quilts, but any scraps or remnants are good to use in making other projects. I have used some Moda fabric and others, but I don't know all the names of them. Thanks for having the contest.

I also love fabric and I am quite bored with what I have right now, so some new fabric might light a fire in me. I make plushy animals, quilts, hats, skirts for my girls.

I love vintage style fabrics, cotton, fun fur and bright fun fabrics for the girls. Here is a link to my esty page: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5560397

Hands down, anything by Alexander Henry. I should buy stock in the company! Fabulous prints, anything I'm drawn to in a fabric store is bound to be theirs! :)

Greens and Reds are my favorite colors to work with.

I'd love to win some fabric ... What fabric do I love most ... It's a hard question ...
I do like rather natural fabrics. I usually like small patterns better than large ones ... I don't have a favourite designer ... I like stripes more than dots ... I like all kinds of colours ... I love when different patterns and colours add up to a new whole ...
Sorry, it's very hard to describe - but when I see some I just know ;-)
