I would love to win and try this yeast.I have two favorites really. When I got married 15 yrs ago I was given an Amish bread recipe from a wonderful friend. I can use up to half wheat flour with it. My other all time fave is a Dill Bread recipe from my mom. Both of these don't last long at my house.

My favorite is Potato Bread...although Cinnamon Raisin Bread is right up there, too. This is a fun giveaway for those of us who love to make our own bread!

I've been getting into Rye bread lately. Maybe my German roots have something to do with it? I wouldn't touch it as a kid, but now...ummm....toasted with butter? Cruncy yummyness! My diets suffer because I'm a bread and cracker glutton :( But I'm a HAPPY bread and cracker glutton! :)

Today my favorite bread is my cat head biscuits I made for breakfast. Then, I added home churned butter and blueberry jam made yesterday. Tomorrow, I'll make brown bread and that will be my favorite tomorrow.
I'm soooo easy!

I'm trying to follow on Facebook; how does that happen when there's no friends button?

This is a new yeast to me... I usually use red star or fleischmann's. It would be nice to try a new one. We make all our own sandwich bread, biscuits, scones, and muffins, but I'd like to branch out and make other items. Time always seems to be a factor, but soon I hope to set aside some time and tackle a few new recipes - hamburger buns, sourdough, artisan breads, french bread, etc.

Cool giveaway.

And I love the picture of your hubby with the kids. Cute.

Favorite bread, that's a hard one as it usually depends on the day. If I'm smelling it, I'm lovin it. The one I always go back to is a white bread recipe I've played with and and always be counted on to be amazing. Everyone I gift with it loves it so much I feel guilty keeping them to myself sometimes. I do plan on trying your recipes given, I've never thought of whole grain rye sourdough. I'm inspired.

My husband makes a 2/3 white 1/3 wheat boule that is fantastic. I also love banana bread with raspberries in it.

I'm not sure if this counts, but my Mom's elephant ears are the best! Out of this world. (Can you count it as bread, it does contain yeast!)
After that, I'd go for a rye any day.

I've always wondered if SAF yeast would make a difference in my bread, but have never tried it. My favorite bread to make is whole wheat. Or egg bread. Kind of boring, but I love it!

My favorite bread is a good hard Rusk that you put in the bottom of your greek salad.......it soaks up the olive oil while you eat the veggies and then tastes just heavenly with a bit of Feta cheese........man, the memories of Crete this brings back just thinking about it..........
