In Light of Recent Events- It's Contest Time!

Meaning, the fabric I just ordered this morning! I'm going to do a little give-a-way here on my blog. Fabric scraps. Like 'em? Well, you can get an entire Priority Mail Box stuffed full of them- for free! I really need to clean out my stash! I have scraps ranging from little cut triangles to pieces large enough to be called remnants, almost whole fat quarters.
Here's the deal; post a comment here on my blog and let me know a little bit about your favorite type of fabic. Where it comes from, who makes it, why you like it, etc. Then remeber to leave an email address where I can contact you. More Fabric on it's Way!!

I'm addicted. I'll admit it. O.k., I promise, this is the last bunch of fabric I'm going to buy for a while. I ordered more than what's here but this is just a little sample.

It's from the Tiny Tots line by Red Rooster. I can't wait to see how this baby quilt turns out!

Quilt Preview

Here's a few pics of the completed quilt top for my Urban S quilt. I still need to find a backing, quilt it and then bind it (obviously.) I used the 1974 collection from Moda by Urban Chicks. I think it turned out really great. It was fun to make. I like trying something different every now and then.

A Keeper

Well, I know that I said I wasn't going to keep another quilt for my kids but this one was just too sweet to let go. Plus, I not only gained another quilt, I have now already made Timber's first birthday gift! Killed two birds with one stone there. Then I got this idea that it would be fun to make Timber a quilt for every birthday until her 18th. So, that's what I'm going to do. Now she have a hope chest full of quilts and her future husband will think her mom's a tad bit loopy. :)
