I am super excited to share this post with you! The nice folks over at Skyhorse Publishing have asked me to review and giveaway a few of their publications, which I gladly accepted. Look what came in the mail today...
I'll be reviewing The Homesteading Handbook this month and giving away a copy. In August I'll review Beekeeping and giving away a copy. Then in September I'll review The Joy of Keeping a Root Cellar and give away a copy of it too. Which of the books is the most or least appealing to you?
I am really looking forward to 3 months of great reading, sharing my thoughts with you and sending these 3 books to 3 lucky winners. I hope you'll stick around!

OH gosh! Great looking books. I'm not interested in Beekeeping, but the other two would be fabulous to win!
They all look fantastic! I think the one that iterests me most (at the moment...that could change any minute) is beekeeping.
They all sound interesting, although I am not sure how a root cellar would work in sandy, hot 'n humid FL.
Interest does not necessarily correlate with the ability to execute. I live in town, but I have an urban homestead with rabbits, chickens and a garden. I may never have bees, or a root cellar, but all 3 are interesting topics.
I will be looking forward to your reviews!
They are all of value. But right now I am a year into my first Beekeeping adventure. So that one is calling me.
However I am in my 26th year of working on homesteading so a new book with new views would always be welcome.
Root Cellar keeping last on list just because there is so much else on my plate already!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Beekeeping and Root Cellar both look like great books. Actually, the Homestead book looks interesting but the other two are more in line with my interests right now.
Thanks for the opportunity; it's a great giveaway.
They all sound great. I love homestead type books, but I'm wanting to learn more about root cellars.
"The Homesteading Handbook" is the most appealing to me. I live in an apartment. There would be things in this book that I can still use :) :) Plus, I saw the hands with the knitting...and I can't resist needlework :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
They all look appealing to me...I've looked at the first one MANY times at the book store. :) How exciting, can't wait to hear what you think of them.
I think I'd be most interested in the Root Cellar one, this is something that my hubby and I have talked about often. Looking forward to hearing what you think of the books!
I look forward to the reviews! The Homesteading Handbook looks fascinating, but I would like to get my hands on any of those books!
I'm really interested in the Homesteading Handbook.
Personally, I would be very interested in the Homesteading Handbook. Thats the one I would probably be most likely to purchase. While I love honey, bees and I are NOT friends..
Hugs
Amy
Hi, I just found your blog and absolutely love it. Thanks for sharing your posts! We are homesteading so that book interests me greatly.
Wow- those look like great books!
I'd personally love to have a copy of the beekeeping one!

Wonderful giveaway, the Homesteading Handbook would be a great help in establishing our homestead and getting back to basics., thanks
I love your post on the homemade marshmallows...can't wait to try them! Also, The Homesteading Handbook looks wonderful, was it good? We haven been slowly (step by step) getting closer to providing as much as we can (food wise) for our family from our backyard! It is so rewarding!
great books. I would be interested in all of them. my brother just recently started raising bees so he would really enjoy the beekeepng book!
