What's in a Name?

Once again, I'm enlisting the help of my blog readers to help out with some important decision making - naming the newest addition to our family! Actually, I really shouldn't call him family because, I don't know about all of you but, we don't eat members of our family and we are going to be eating this dude.

I do feel as though he needs a name though. Nothing too cutesy though, we're not keeping him as a pet. Gavin's suggestion was "cow." Not so original. What do you think?

Hmmm. Well Dillon said "Horsie" LOL! That would be confusing though.

How about "Norman" from City Slickers, or "Rufus" came to mind.

He is too cute.

I can't do Norman because that little calf was sooooooooo cute, you just wanted to hug him! I'd feel bad about slaughtering him! :)

Okay...so I've been thinking really hard about this, and talking to my family. Tom was his usual smart aleck self and said, "If they're gonna eat it, they should just name it dinner." I then laughed and hit him. But, it got me thinking...I think you should name him Din-Din. So, it's something easy, but also appropriate! Heck, this was probably no help...you've probably already named him!

Ah, Tom, always the character! But actually "Dinner" sounds pretty good! :) Although Din-Din would certainly be easier for Layton to pronounce!
