book giveaway

One of my most treasured hobbies in the winter is reading. I don't get to do a whole lot of it sometimes but when I do, it's a simple quiet moment that I love. Before Spring hits I'd like to share with you some of my favorite books! So over the next few months I'll be giving away books with topics such as homesteading and being a Godly wife, to name a few! If you haven't already, make sure you enter the "Country Wisdom and Know How" book giveaway in the post below. Happy reading!

Do you have a venison stew recipe or recipes for using ground venison that you would like to share on the blog? I noticed your canning/freezing record included frozen venison. We just started hunting deer last fall, and I'm finding there's a trick to cooking it since the meat is very lean. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you could give!

I would love to enter the book giveaway to learn about homesteading... especially as I learn to create an "urban homestead."
