My 38 years of canning have helped me to understand that if they are in good condition they work fine to use in a water bath canner...but never a pressure canner. I also learned (the hard way) that canning lids do not fit all of the reused jars. As you say, when we stick to using canning jars then we know that the lids fit and that our hard work will pay off!Diannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15916346102440260126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5677866446660565018.post-2349617357070417552010-08-04T11:40:37.855-07:002010-08-04T11:40:37.855-07:00Suzi,

You may want to check your co-op to see if they have them! :)Mountain Home Quiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14307105463600660439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5677866446660565018.post-66040389389114344012010-08-04T08:38:23.804-07:002010-08-04T08:38:23.804-07:00Heather,

I love this size for certain items, but I have to order them and only 6 come per package. ACE hardware use to carry them on-line and you could have them shipped to your local store for free, but I'm not sure if they still carry this item.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564840073358020600noreply@blogger.com
